Armoured apron, haidateWarriors on horseback were very vulnerable to the sweeping sword strokes of their enemies. Underneath their armoured skirt of seven sections they wore a chain mail apron which extended to protect the upper legs. The upper parts of the apron. haidate are made of blue brocade silk reinforced with printed deerskin. Below the legs are made of padded chain mail, strengthened with iron ribs.
