used at Bonar Bridge, Sutherland
These three stones were used as charms by a reputed witch who died in 1900 at Bonar Bridge in Sutherland.
One is a flattish oval pebble of quartzite with a groove on one of the flat faces. The other two are distinctively egg-shaped.
The stones were bought for the Museum in 1912.
