Fan (Guard)

Guard of folding fan, of carved, pierced and gilded ivory, backed by red foil.

Carved with a figure of woman with a cherub above. A quiver of arrows is carved below amidst scrolls and leaves. A bulbous head with small brass rivet and mother of pearl washer.
