MugThis earthenware mug was made in the 19th century, possibly in Bo'ness in West Lothian. It is sprig moulded with a figure of a tobacco taker. Sprig moulded mug with a blue band, possibly by J. Jamieson of Bo'ness Good supplies of coal and clay and easy transport by sea meant that the south side of the Firth of Forth was an ideal location for potteries to develop.
