Roll book, kept secretly in Japanese prisoner of war camp, Borneo

This roll book was kept secretly by Warrant Officer Robert Rennie of the Royal Army Service Corps, a prisoner of war of the Japanese at Kuching camp in Borneo during World War II.

The book lists men held at the camp following the British defeat in the Far East in 1942. Many are recorded as having died in captivity. As well as personal details and information about the next of kin of each man, the book records breaches of discipline and punishments authorised by British officers.
