Velocopede, Parisienne

This Velocopede, colloquially known as a 'boneshaker' bicycle, was made around 1869 by Michaux of Paris. The type was the first pedal-driven two-wheeler to be produced.

The bicycle has an iron frame and iron rimmed wooden wheels. The model name is 'Parisienne'.
