This hanging oil lamp comes from Linlithgow in West Lothian. It was made in the 19th century, possibly by a tinker. It is made of tin.
The circular lamp has three spouts, each with an open spout as a drip pan below. Below the spouts are three bulbous feet. The lid has a small moulded knob in the centre and there are small hooks at the side of the vessel, to which a handle can be attached.
