Penny bank, made at Kirkcaldy, Fife
This penny bank was made at Morrison and Crawford's Rosslyn Pottery at Kirkcaldy in Fife. It dates from the late 19th or early 20th century.
The globular penny bank is on a stemmed foot. It is decorated in colours and stamped 'Bella'.
Morrison and Crawford's Rosslyn Pottery was started in 1878. Penny banks of various shapes and sizes were a popular line by the pottery.
