Glass jug made in Edinburgh

This glass jug was made at Alexander Jenkinson's Norton Park Glassworks in Edinburgh in the late 19th or early 20th century.

The jug has 'latticino' decoration of opaque white crossed threads. Latticino designs such as this were inspired by Venetian glass designs.

Norton Park Glass exhibited at the Paris International Exhibition in 1878.
