Container in the form of a toadThis container in the form of a toad was made by Peter Gardner's Dunmore Pottery in Falkirk district. It is based on a Chinese original. Container in the form of a three-legged green and cream toad, by Dunmore Pottery, Stirlingshire, 1860 - 1910 Peter Gardner took over his father's small redware pottery in 1860 and immediately began to develop new ranges of fashionable wares.
