This is the reverse of silver medal or badge of the Edinburgh Skating Society. Dating from the late 18th century, the item was made for a Thomas Hogg.

The reverse is engraved with crossed skates and the inscription 'OCIOR EURO'. There is a suspension loop and swivel ring.
