Vase, made at Dunmore, Falkirk DistrictThis earthenware vase was made by Peter Gardner's Dunmore Pottery in Falkirk district. The glazed vase has a long thin cylindrical neck which swells out to form a bulbous body. Peter Gardner took over his father's small redware pottery in 1860 and immediately began to develop new ranges of fashionable wares.
