Cannonballs
These ten iron cannonballs were recovered from the wreck of HMS Dartmouth which sunk in a storm off Eilean Rubha an Ridire in the Sound of Mull in 1690.

HMS Dartmouth was part of a naval force intended to prevent Jacobites in Ireland and Scotland linking up and to harass the lands of clans loyal to the Jacobites. When the ship sank almost all the crew was lost.
