From Hedderwick, Dunbar
This flint arrowhead was found at Hedderwick at Dunbar. It dates from between 3800 and 2500 BC. Arrowheads of this nature could have been used for hunting or for fighting. This one might even have been used for fishing.
The arrowhead is leaf shaped, a type common throughout Britain in the Neolithic period.
