Arrowhead

This flint arrowhead was found in Banffshire. It dates from between 3800 and 2500 BC. Arrowheads of this nature could have been used for hunting or for fighting.

The arrowhead is lozenge shaped, a type found throughout Britain in the Neolithic period.
