Jar or craggan

This hand-made clay jar or 'craggan' was made in Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.

There is a label on the side of the jar which reads 'Craggan or Hand-made Jar of Clay from the Island of Lewis / By A. Sholto Douglas Esq'.
