Electrotype copy of a gold ring brooch known as the Kames BroochThis is an electrotype of the front and back of a gold ring brooch known as the 'Kames Brooch' which is associated with the Bute Mazer. The brooch dates from around 1300. The brooch is decorated with wyverns. The Latin inscription on the back translates as 'Jesus of Nazareth, crucified, King of the Jews.
