Panel of carved oak
Add to album

This group of three oak panels is associated with Sir James Drummond of Innerpeffray in Perthshire and his wife Margaret Stewart. It dates from the early 17th century.

The panel is a good quality Renaissance work, of the same high standard as those found in royal palaces.

Margaret Stewart was an illegitimate daughter of James IV and Margaret, daughter of Lord Drummond.
