This maiolica dish was made between around 1530 and 1550 at Gubbio in Italy, probably at the workshop of Maestro Giorgio.

The dish is painted in colours and yellow lustre and decorated in relief with the Agnus Dei [Lamb of God] in the centre holding a double-pointed flag with a cross. On the moulded rim are 'San Bernardino Rays'.
