Motorcycle, New GerrardThis 'New Gerrard' motorcycle was built in Edinburgh in 1924 by Jock Porter. The black-painted motorcycle has 'New Gerrard' on each side of the petrol tank in gold lettering. The front suspension is girder fork and the rear of the machine is rigid. The engine is a 500 cc Barr and Stroud single cylinder sleeve valve unit built in Glasgow.
