Electric vehicle, Sinclair C5

This 'Sinclair C5' electric vehicle was made in 1985. It was designed by Clive Sinclair built by Hoover in Wales.

The innovative vehicle has three wheels and a single seat. It is powered by a battery and electric motor plus pedals. The body shell is made of the largest plastic mouldings being produced at the time. The vehicle is steered by using a handle-bar situated below the legs. It is marked 'C5' on the front and 'SINCLAIR' on rear.
