Set of medical instruments

This set of medical instruments was used by Dr David Hutchison, a graduate of the University of Edinburgh and general practitioner in Musselburgh in East Lothian from 1950 to 1985.

One of a collection of medical instruments used by Dr Hutchison

Dr Hutchison was a clinical assistant at Fife district asylum during the Easter, Summer and Christmas vacations in 1942. From August 1943 to January 1944 he was a resident surgeon in the surgical out-patient department of the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh.
