Panel, showing the Creation of Eve

This maiolica panel showing the 'Creation of Eve' was made at Siena in Italy, possibly in the 1740s. It may have been painted by Ferdinando Maria Campani.

The panel shows Adam, reclining on a rock, pointing to Eve, who is standing with God's right hand on her shoulder. A rabbit is hiding beside Adam's right foot.
