Jug

This maiolica jug was made in Orvieto or Northern Lazio in Italy in the 14th or 15th century. It was said to have been found in the River Tiber in Rome.

The tin-glazed jug is painted in green and purple with an eight pointed star encircled by a double wreath of berries.
