Wine glass

This wine glass of clear colourless glass dates from 1971. It was designed by Per Lutken and made by Holmegaards Glassworks of Fensmark in Denmark.

The design of the glass is called 'Skibsglas'.

Since the end of World War II, the national design organisations of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark have collaborated with joint exhibitions and prizes to promote modern functional design. This resulted in a characteristic 'Scandinavian Style' which was a major influence on world taste.
