This witch's face mask is one of a range of inexpensive items sold for Hallowe'en celebrations in turn-of-the-millennium Britain. It could be worn at parties or during 'Trick or Treat' visits.

This mask is in the form of a gruesome witch's face, made of flexible rubbery material, wearing a traditional black pointed hat and with long flowing silvery hair.

The 'horror show' paraphernalia associated with Hallowe'en night celebrations in 1990s Britain reflect an Americanised, Hollywood-influenced version of the traditional All Hallows Eve festival - itself a mixture of Christian and popular practices.
