Happy Hallowe'en gift set, for celebrations

This gift set, consisting of a Trick or Treat bag containing a witch figure and a pumpkin-head ballpoint pen, is one of a range of inexpensive items sold for Hallowe'en celebrations in turn-of-the-millennium Britain.

This consists of a small orange 'Trick or Treat' bag marked 'Happy Hallowe'en', a figurine of a witch, and a ballpoint pen with orange fuzzy coating and pumpkin head, the body also marked 'Happy Hallowe'en'.

The 'horror show' paraphernalia associated with Hallowe'en (Halloween) night celebrations in 1990s Britain reflect an Americanised, Hollywood-influenced version of the traditional All Hallows Eve festival - itself a mixture of Christian and popular practices.
