This is the reverse of a silver medal of the University of Glasgow. It was awarded in 1812 to theology student Robert Balfour Graham, for elocution.

The inscription on the reverse reads 'Robert Balfour Graham, Student in Theology for the best specimen of Elocution. (Prov. III.6.)'
