Leather wallet and marriage banns

This leather wallet (pictured here open) contains the following personal and business items - a pocket book containing accounts dated 1793 and 1825, an iron pencil holder, a tax receipt of 1815 and a proclamation of marriage banns dated 1845.

The dated accounts in the pocket book were issued at Dundee and Montrose. The handwritten proclamation of banns refer to the marriage of David Gumley and Agnes Wallace on 2 May 1845 at Dunnichen Parish Church, Perthshire.
