Triptych in album of prints mainly illustrating warriors and battles by Kuniyoshi. Kawanakajima O-Kassen, (The great battle of Kawanakajima of the title took place in 1560). The print is signed Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi and published by Yamashiro-ya Jimbei

This print is subtitled Kenshin Shingen tachi uchi no tsu, and illustrates a personal encounter between Shingen and Kenshin, the two leaders, in midstream. The print has a mura censor mark and gives the names of the main protagonists in the battle.
