Top of a silver tobacco box made in Glasgow

This is the top of a silver tobacco box made in Glasgow in 1685-6 by Robert Brock.

The front is engraved with a heraldic shield surrounded by foliage with the initials 'IR' underneath.

Robert Brock became a member of the Glasgow Incorporation of Hammermen in 1673.
