Medal (obverse), commemorating opening of Forth Railway Bidge

This is the obverse of a bronze medal commemorating the opening of the Forth Railway Bridge in 1890 by Edward, Prince of Wales. The medal was made by L.C. Lauer of Nuremburg.

The obverse bears a view of the bridge and the inscriptions 'THE FORTH BRIDGE' and '1890'.
