Silver medal (reverse) of the Highland Society of Glasgow

This is the reverse of a silver medal of the Highland Society of Glasgow. The medal was awarded to weaver Dugald Mackellar in 1800 as a badge of merit for his apprenticeship. It was made by Robert Gray of Glasgow.

The reserve is inscribed 'Given / to / DUGALD. MACKELLAR / Weaver / in testimony of his / good behaviour and / examplary conduct / during his Education / and Apprenticeship / 1800'.
