Motorcycle, Leader

This 'Leader' 250 cc motorcycle was made by Ariel in 1958.

The motorcycle has a twin-cylinder, air cooled, two-stroke engine. The body consists of a dummy tank, rear wheel enclosure and panniers, and leg shields, side panels and a deep section front mudguard.

Ariel were one of the country's larger motorcycle makers. Like a number of motorcycle manufacturers, they began by producing bicycles.
