This low profile track racing bicycle was built in 1980 by Mike Burrows. It represents the start of Burrows experimenting with low profile machines. This experimentation led Burrows to develop in 1985 the world's first carbon fibre monocoque bicycle, which is also preserved in the Museum's collections.

Track racing bicycle painted metallic blue, with tubular frame and twin seat tubes, built and raced by Mike Burrows, 1980
