This Rudge 'Sports Special' 500 cc motorcycle was made in 1939.

The motorcycle has a single cylinder, twin exhaust pipes, and an unusual coupled front and rear brake.

1939 was the last year of motorcycle production by Rudge. They continued doing war work during World War II but after did not restart motorcycle production when the war ended.
