These medals were awarded to Lord Lynedoch in the early 19th century for his services in the wars against France. They include awards from Britain's allies, Naples and Portugal.

The medals are the Star of a Knight Grand Cross, the Order of the Bath; the Star of a Knight Grand Cross, the Order of St Michael and St George; the Star of the Portuguese Order of the Tower and Sword; the Badge of the Portuguese Order of the Tower and Sword; the Badge of Order of the Ferdinand of Naples; the Army Gold Cross for Ciudad Rodrigo, Barossa, Vittoria and San Sebastian; and the large Army gold medal for Barossa, with clasps for Vittoria and Ciudad Rodrigo.

Sir Thomas Graham, Lord Lynedoch (1748-1843), was a Perthshire landowner and politician. He began his military career late at the age of 45 when he raised his own local regiment in 1794. He went on to become one of the Duke of Wellington's most trusted generals in the war against France. His greatest victory was achieved at Barossa in Spain in 1811.
