Bicycle, Contour

This mountain bicycle, or ATB (All Terrain Bicycle) was designed and assembled by the Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative. The frame was made by Steels of Newcastle. It dates from 1989. The model name is 'Contour'.

The frame is painted gunmetal grey with 'Edinburgh Bicycle' on both down tubes and 'Contour'/'Biopace 18 Speed SIS' on the top tube. The chainset is Shimano Exage Biospace, the gears are Shimaro Exage Country and the brakes are Shimano cantilever. 'AH' is stamped under the crank bar.
