Dish

This maiolica dish was made in Italy at Gubbio, or possibly Deruta. It dates from the early 16th century.

The dish is painted in dark blue and lustred in yellow. On the border is an escallop pattern, in the centre a scale pattern and the inscription 'ORSOLINA' (Ursuline).
