Bowl

This glass bowl on a foot was made by Cristalleries du Val Saint-Lambert in Belgium in the early 20th century.

The bowl is made of clear colourless glass acid-etched with a pantograph with a border of wavy scrolls and pendants.

Val Saint-Lambert was set up in 1826 but it was not until the end of the century that it had acquired its status as a pioneering glassmaker through highly original products. After privatisation in 1987, the company management demonstrated its intention in boosting productivity once again by calling on both internal and external designers. Cristalleries du Val Saint-Lambert continues today.
