This portrait miniature of an Indian official, was made in India and dates to the 19th century.

The centre of the painting has a portrait miniature in a roundel depicting an Indian official, seated on a throne and holding a sword. The roundel is surrounded by a broad decorative floral field enclosed by a marbled border. The inscription refers to the man's identity: 'This is a special likeness of Dalid Amir Tahmour Sahib Quran'.
