Bowl

This glass bowl was designed in 1951 by Vicke Lindstrand and made in 1960 by AB Kosta Glasbruk of Kosta in Sweden.

The colourless glass bowl is diamond-engraved with a net-pattern and the mark 'Koste LG138'.

Since the end of World War II, the national design organisations of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark have collaborated with joint exhibitions and prizes to promote modern functional design. This resulted in a characteristic 'Scandinavian Style' which was a major influence on world taste.
