This woman's white cotton muslin day dress, printed with daisy-like flower heads, was made in Britain between around 1923 and 1924.

The dress is trimmed with embroidered collar and cuffs.

The early 1920s dresses were constructed for the most part fairly simply. The silhouette was slim but the skirt was still fairly long. By 1925 the skirt had shortened to the knee, the shortest it had ever been for European women.
