Bowl

This earthenware bowl was made in the 1920s by the Britannia Pottery Company Ltd in Glasgow. Its body has a finish known as 'Scotch Ivory'.

The bowl interior is hand-painted with lustre, leaves and butterflies. The base is marled with the maker's details and the printed mark, 'IVORY'.

The Britannia Pottery Company Ltd bought over the business of Arnold J Fleming's Brittannia Pottery in 1920.
