Plate

This earthenware octagonal plate was made in the 1920s by the Britannia Pottery Company Ltd in Glasgow. The orange textured surface has been hand-painted with large blue flowers.

The base is marked with the maker's details and the number '1603' in black.

The Britannia Pottery Company Ltd bought over the business of Arnold J Fleming's Brittannia Pottery in 1920.
