This bronze bracelet was found at Mill of Laithers near Turriff in Aberdeenshire, possibly with part of a flat bronze axehead. It was made sometime between 2300 and 1750 BC.

The bracelet was made from a bronze bar, hammered flat and bent to make a ring. Its outer surface had engraved decoration, now worn.

This would have been a prestigious possession, as bronze objects were not available to all members of the community around this time.
