This pewter plate was made around the 1720s by Thomas Inglis, a pewterer based in Edinburgh.

The plate has a plain rim engraved with a coat-of-arms.

Thomas Inglis was made a freeman of the Incorporation of Hammermen of Edinburgh in 1719. He died in 1732.
