This bronze stopper with trefoil head was found in the field containing the ruins of Kilspindie Castle in Aberlady in East Lothian. It dates from the 16th or 17th century.

Possibly a copper alloy stopper, with a trefoil head, found in the field containing the ruins of Kilspindie Castle, Aberlady, East Lothian, 16th - 17th century

Kilspindie or Kilspindley Castle was built in 1585, between the village of Aberlady and the shore.
