This bronze pendant or decorative harness mount was found in the field containing the ruins of Kilspindie Castle in Aberlady in East Lothian. It dates from the between the 13th and 15th century.

The rectangular-shaped pendant or harness mount has a suspension loop. The high central boss in the centre is on a red enamelled background.

Kilspindie or Kilspindley Castle was built in 1585, between the village of Aberlady and the shore.
