Chair

This walnut chair is characteristic of the Restoration period. The crowns were a common motif and do not indicate any royal connection. The feet have been replaced and the tapestry seat is a 20th century addition.

Walnut chair with a high back, a needlepoint upholstered seat, and spiral legs, 1670 - 1690
